The Asia Pacific Stroke Conference 2023 was successfully held at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks from 1 to 3 December 2023. Not only was it the first full-physical APSC meeting since the world was hit by COVID, but it has also been exactly one decade since Hong Kong hosted the annual event in 2013.

Co-organized by the Hong Kong Stroke Society and the Asia Pacific Stroke Organisation, the conference had over 700 registrations from more than 20 countries, which represented a diverse range of expertise and perspectives. There was a record-breaking number of 278 accepted abstracts, a total of 107 scientific sessions, and over 130 local and international faculties.
Over the course of three days, the conference has brought together dedicated professionals and passionate advocates in the field of stroke care, and allowed the exchange of the latest advancements, research findings, and best practices in stroke prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
Our esteemed guests from across the world also had the opportunity to reunite with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy cultural performances and singing performances from both healthcare professionals and patient groups.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to every member of the organizing committee, every delegate who participated, and every one of our generous sponsors for making this conference a great success. We would also like to congratulate our award winners (see list of awardees HERE), and the newly elected APSO executive committee.
See you in Adelaide for APSC 2024!
